Halloween is so chaotic. Getting 3 kids into costumes and keeping them there is harder than you think it might be. Feeding them, making sure they use the restroom and are not ready to go hours before it is time are all problems.
This would explain why I have only 1 or 2 pictures of all the 3 kids dressed up and ready to go this Halloween.
William decided he wanted to be a dragon/dinosaur.
Amelia was Elsa from frozen and Gemma was Anna from frozen.

Amelia's costume parties
Amelia had a costume party for her Girl Scout troop and a costume night for ballet. This time of year is busy!
Gemma's Halloween library party
The library had a costume parade as part of storytime. Gemma couldn't decide what costume to choose and finally settled on Princess Anna from Frozen. The Frozen characters were strongly represented at the party, although Gemma was the only Princess Anna.

Family fun night
Amelia's school hosted a family game night in October. I'm sad to say we almost didn't go (after a long, busy week I like to just sit on my couch). At the last minute, Amelia and I snuck out for some one on one time.
One of the game stations was a "minute to win it" game. Each game was less than a minute in length and when your number was called, you weren't sure what you were going to be asked to do.
Here is brave Amelia playing minute to win it against a much bigger girl (spoiler: and winning!)
(She won a pencil)

The 50th day of school
For Amelia's 50th day of school, the students had a 50's themed day. William was not ever much interested in participating in these types of days, but Amelia is all about being fancy and wearing costumes.
Which meant we needed a costume.
Which meant I decided I could make a poodle skirt with directions I found online.
It was way more math than I bargained for - I had to calculate circumference! Using a math formula!
Anyway, we for running behind and all I have of my cutie is her running down the street to catch the bus!

Pumpkin patch fun!
The kids enjoyed a quick outing to the pumpkin patch! That calendar project keeps us motivated to capture the fall fun every year!
