Day 2

Not as successful. Nap was a big struggle ( about 2 minutes more and I was putting her back in her crib) and bedtime resulted in this:

March milestone

Amelia's first night in a big girl bed. (sniff, sniff). For no reason other than she keeps trying to claim William's bed. She was a proud little girl tonight (not a baby) and went right to sleep without a peep. I'm a proud, weepy mama tonight.

March 26?

Is this right? This is by far the most snow we've seen in one winter since moving here in 2002.

Back into running?

It's been a long time coming, but I'm finally easing myself back into running. I'm not very good at the whole pacing myself thing, so it has very much been a practice in patience. One big component in my program has been stretching. A lot of stretching, which I squeeze in at random times during the day. I didn't realize that the monkeys had been paying such close attention! Here they are showing pretty good form in their imitation of my stretches.

Our house

I am so impressed! Complete with windows, chimneys, and Daddy work area (bottom, center). Perhaps, ears as well?

PS. Notice the name at the top? Made me laugh!

Brrrrrr....

It is a cold day to jump in the lake! I'm out at the Polar Bear Plunge!
